I miss you.

And I’m really sorry we’ve come upon another dent in our relationship. This friendship has been through worse heartbreak, upset, and anger, and I hope we’ll come out the other side. It feels so strange being timid around you. It’s so foreign for me to feel trepidation around you. I’ve always felt so free to say whatever was on my mind without judgement, but always sound criticism if need be, or just the silence of listening.

But I miss you.

And I just thought you should know.

Even though I’m not sure I’m allowed to tell you.
